Russia’s national strategy in development of agriculture and food production stipulates increases in total orchard area by 11,5k hectares annually. The industry has developed rapidly and is now ahead of this global goal. Over the last several years, the total active orchard area in Russia has increased to 73k hectares, and more than 100 new orchard projects will be launched through 2020-2022.
